Pair of Top-10 finishes in URSA Fall Nationals at Vado

Starting the preliminary feature in third via heat race victory, Mullens held onto a sixth-place finish in the 25-lapper after losing brakes.

The following night, Tanner raced from fourth-to-first in his heat but got turned around while battling for the lead in the feature that dropped him back to 17th.

With preliminary results from Friday and Saturday placing him on the fifth row for Sunday's $22,000-to-win USRA Fall Nationals finale, Mullens inched forward three spots in the 50-lapper to place seventh.
